Meet the Artist
Robb Shobe is the creative force behind Juxtapose Creative Co. He’s an artist who specializes in creating unique art pieces, home accessories, lighting, and refurbished furniture pieces. Robb is a Tamarack Foundation 2022 Emerging Artist Fellow.
His background is in design and visual merchandizing, having worked for home-design giants along the east coast including Z Galleries, West Elm and Jonathan Adler. He launched Juxtapose Creative Co. with the intention of bringing his attention and skill-set to his own retail business; an opportunity to market his own work, along with a curated selection of other makers’ work, and a variety of rare vintage finds.
Robb loves finding beauty in unexpected places and frequently leverages distinctive combinations in his design; juxtaposing examples of rustic and contemporary, natural and manmade, folk art and modern art, elegance and kitsch. His work is always unique and always unexpected.
